Rev. Tracy Rich
Through deep exploration of meditation, yoga, mindfulness, the natural world, and Jewish, Buddhist, Christian and Earth-based traditions. I have responded to the call to offer a whole human approach to healing and growth that weaves and integrates a multitude of spiritual practices and ritual offerings, holding a lens of social justice throughout. I use the modalities of drumming, chanting, and loving attentive listening.
In my experience, the path of healing and learning to be a human is the way our Soul shows up. It is a challenging path, and offers an opportunity to love yourself unconditionally. This love can then expand to include others and, ultimately, joins us to the whole earth’s efforts towards healing and peace. I offer the clear intention that your body, soul, and mind have information that is trustworthy and useful at whatever point you find yourself at. Receiving loving and welcoming witness can support, nurture, and guide your efforts to truly listen to and honor yourself.
My work and personal life paths have been varied, confusing, productive, and fulfilling and have taught me that our paths often take unexpected – and always useful – turns. I am an ordained interspiritual Minister of Walking Prayer through the Center for Sacred Studies. I have a Certificate in Chanting and Meditation Leadership through ALEPH and Rabbi Shefa Gold . For the past fifteen years, I have had the amazing good fortune to work at the Center for Early Relationship Support, in the Visiting Moms program on the Vulnerable Families Team. Mothering has been a significant part of my spiritual development; my relationship with my two young adult daughters is a profound gift, and I am in a life partnership with a woman who inspires me to continually be myself.
