Julie Kunz

Julie (a.k.a. Red Fox) is an early childhood teacher and nature connection mentor. She is an advocate for getting children outdoors, teaching them nature awareness and wilderness skills as well as getting as muddy as possible. Julie also aims to inspire women to find their wild nature within through facilitating monthly women’s circles. Her travels through Peru lead her to investigate the reciprocal relationship humans have to the natural elements in our universe by receiving initiations from a lineage of Q’ero shamans. Born to Swiss parents, but raised in New York City, she has unveiled her own wild nature through meditation, hiking, poetry, chanting and pranayama breath work. Julie is also committed to finding the balance between self-love practices and being a mom to her son.  She currently resides in the Berkshires, MA and works with the Flying Deer Nature Center.
